During these three days you will be led through mindful movement practices of yoga and Qigong. We will address the coming season and celebrate the passing summer through movement, journaling, and meditation. These seasonal practices will help us harness the qi or energy and health we have built up over the warm months to keep our health and spirit supported and resilent as we enter another season. Two organized classes a day: 9:30-11 am will be a more active yoga practice yet accessible to ALL. At 4:00pm-5:30 we will gather for a more restorative practice consisting of qigong, restorative yoga and walking meditation. We will break off in groups with an assignment to explore as well as taking time alone to journal. Later we join back in again to share if you choose. This state park has a lot going on so we will have plenty to be engaged in when we aren't gathered together in practice or journaling. A day trip into Omaha to explore the many happenings during those dates will be organized. The park is located right between Omaha and Lincoln. Currently there is a good amount of availability but do book asap! Full hookups are rare but they exist. All sites have electricity but not water, however, they are a very well equipped campground and over access to fresh water everywhere.
